16.11.12 . A great afternoon in Uruguay

This is my roommate Koen and I exploring the vast space of Yvytu Itaty on horseback. There were no streets, no power poles and no sounds other than birds and the clopping of our horse's hooves. I have never been at a place as peaceful as this (remind me to do this more often).

24.10.11 . Navajo Nation National Park . Utah

When you go to Monument Valley, take the horse tour. It is brilliant. You get to be alone with Tito and he'll explain to you why Indians don't grow beards, how Germans and Scots are described in the Navajo language, what the names of the valley's rock formations are, how an Indian's life is divided in four stages and what it means if a coyote is crossing your way. He will however not teach you how to look less ridiculous on a horse.
