23.10.11 . Monument Valley . Utah

We checked out the Navajo Nation's National Park and booked a tour for the next day. We chose the horse tour. The three hour horse tour. On horses. Also we learned something about Navajos: they're not much into that smile-thing white people seem to be so fond of. Refreshing :-) Oops, sorry.

23.10.11 . Goulding's Campground . Utah

Another cabin and this time it's true love. Pictures cannot describe how cute this thing is. It has a kitchen with a table for two, a bath, a double bed, a TV and four bunk beds - on 8 square meters. Dammit, we should have tied it to our car when we left.

22.10.11 . Koa Campground . Moab . Utah

Finally Moab got less crowded and we rented this lovely campground cabin. It is simple, made from logwood and very cosy. We watched "Bridesmaids" on the iPad in bed. Don't laugh. It's a good movie!

22.10.11 . Arches National Park . Utah

While Alex daringly rode the famous mountain bike trails of Moab, I went to see Arches National Park. Why am I not showing you the arches of Arches? Because they look like stone donuts with American families in the middle who take photos. That is why. Plus: if you look for really fancy stuff, you have to look on the ground: it's CRYPTOBIOTIC SOIL CRUST! Wow!
